I'll stamp all over 'credible fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants confronted each other to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.

Ex two-time unified boxing king Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters met for the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
